Iran Screams is an independent platform established by Nazanin Molaee to document political repression, state violence, and human rights violations in Iran.
The initiative focuses on collecting, verifying, and archiving information related to protests, arbitrary detention, excessive use of force, censorship, and internet shutdowns. The content is produced to inform the international community and to preserve evidence of violations that may otherwise be erased or denied.
This work is carried out independently and continuously, with the aim of protecting freedom of expression, supporting accountability, and ensuring that documented abuses remain accessible to international media, human rights organizations, and legal bodies.
Who I Am
I am Nazanin Molaee, an independent political activist and human rights documentarian focusing on Iran. My work centers on exposing state repression, documenting human rights abuses, and preserving evidence related to protests, censorship, and internet shutdowns.
Over the past several years, I have consistently engaged in public-facing activism by publishing verified reports, analytical content, and archived digital materials. My activities are conducted independently and are aimed at informing the international community, particularly during periods when access to information inside Iran is restricted or fully blocked.
As a result of this work, I have faced online harassment, intimidation, and coordinated attacks linked to pro-government networks. Despite these risks, I have continued my activities in order to safeguard freedom of expression and contribute to international awareness and accountability.
My work represents an ongoing and well-documented commitment to human rights advocacy and political activism related to Iran.
What I Do
I document political repression, human rights violations, and censorship in Iran through verified reporting, analytical research, and systematic digital archiving. My work involves monitoring nationwide protests, documenting state violence, analyzing restrictions on information and communication, and preserving evidence for public record and potential legal and human rights review.
